Frozen tomatoes come handy when preparing a dish that calls for peeling the skin of the tomatoes. Yes, there is an old traditional and familiar way known to us. Make an x at one end of the tomatoes and submerge them in boiling water and then peel.
But freezing the tomatoes is a faster way that requires lesser effort. This useful tip was shared by Mrs. Inder Grewal who has also shared with us Rajma recipe.
She told us to wash and dry the tomatoes and freeze the whole tomatoes. On thawing, the skin will comes off on its own.
